Agua Dulce teas, grab-and-go foods added to Monroe native’s SolFood Collective

PERRYSBURG, Ohio — Monroe native, vegan chef and certified health and wellness practitioner Jacquelyn Jones has added a grab-and-go service and tea from a Monroe business to her SolFood Collective at 119 W. Second St.

In addition to pre-order meals, customers also can purchase pre-made organic and vegan foods without ordering in advance. Grab-and-go items are available from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesdays through Fridays in Perrysburg.

“People would forget to pre-order, but wanted healthy foods. They can come in when they want something healthy, open the refrigerator door and grab and go,” Jones said.

SolFood Collective also now sells teas from Monroe’s Agua Dulce.

Jones will continue to deliver pre-orders on Tuesdays to Monroe’s St. Mary’s Park. Orders must be placed by 6 p.m. the previous Friday.

Jones prepares organic, vegan meals and believes food is medicine.

“That is what I live by. I love being the person who can provide that,” she said.

In 2019, the St. Mary Catholic Central High School graduate was a contestant on the Food Network’s “The Great Food Truck Race,” hosted by Tyler Florence.
