The Tiger 3 actress was doing an ‘ask me anything’ session on Instagram over the weekend when someone asked about her food preferences. The diva responded with a picture of the meal and wrote “turai ki sabzi, ‘phool gobhi ki sabzi‘ and broccoli soup.
The photo she shared featured all the three dishes she mentioned in her answer – a comforting bowl of broccoli soup and non-spicy variants of turai (also called tori or ridge gourd) and cauliflower.
Katrina’s favourite foods are inarguably super healthy. Turai is low in calories and a nutritious addition to the diet for the ones aiming to lose or maintain weight. It is rich in fibre which aids in improving digestion, preventing constipation and managing weight. It is also known for its anti-inflammatory properties and is good for the skin.
