Popular Bristol restaurant introduces vegan roast dinner to its menu

Popular vegan restaurant Koocha Mezze Bar this week unveiled a brand new dish for its menu – it’s own roast dinner. Taking to its social media channels earlier this week, staff posted pictures of the meal, writing: “Today marks the first day of serving you our incredible Koocha Sunday roast dinner and has it gone down a treat!”

The full roast includes a Juicy Marbles wellington with mushroom and chestnut duxelles, served on a bed of parsnip hummus, with saffron and rosemary roast potatoes, maple and zaatar glazed carrots, broccoli, parmesan smashed sprouts, a Yorkshire pudding, sausage stuffing and a side of red wine gravy.

You can also add an additional luxury side of cauliflower cheese if you fancy it. What’s more, everything on the plate is completely vegan and this brand new dish will be available ‘every Sunday until it’s sold out’ – so staff recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment.

Priced at £16, the Koocha roast dinner is already a hit with diners. And, taking to the comments, many more couldn’t wait to try it. One wrote: “This sounds phenomenal”, while a second described it as “amazing” and a third said it was “delicious”.

Others were planning to make it their “next roast” and one said it was a “dream come true” for Koocha to finally be offering a much wanted roast dinner.
